Hospitality and care for seniors are the heart of Nye Health Services. As the demand for senior care continues to grow, the availability of skilled professionals to meet that demand is decreasing. The senior care industry is facing a significant workforce shortage, and Nye Health Services is taking action to address this issue.
Join Nye Health Services as a Hospitality Attendant / Caregiver and Make a Difference in Senior Care
As a provider of personalized care and exceptional service, Nye Health Services is committed to creating safe, comfortable, and homelike environments for its residents. Through innovative leadership and a team of highly skilled professionals, Nye Health Services is dedicated to reinventing services and experiences to deliver the best options and choices to those they serve.
To continue their mission of providing exceptional care, Nye Health Services has introduced a new role within Nye Legacy. This role is designed to provide non-nursing, non-direct resident care duties. Working side-by-side with licensed nursing staff, the successful candidate will help with TV, telephone, personal items, blankets, pillows, food trays or snacks, and refilling water/ice.
Addressing Labor Shortages in the Senior Care Industry
The senior care industry is projected to grow by 21% from 2019 to 2029, adding nearly 2.5 million new jobs. However, the labor force is not keeping pace with this demand. By 2025, the industry is expected to face a shortage of over 446,000 direct care workers. Nye Health Services is taking proactive steps to address this issue by offering this new position, which requires a compassionate heart and a willingness to serve rather than a specific certification or degree.
About the New Role at Nye Health Services
This new role (Hospitality Attendant / Caregiver) is an opportunity for compassionate individuals to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors. The position does not require a license or certification, but a smile and a big heart are a must!
This position is also a stepping stone for individuals seeking work experience in healthcare and an opportunity to grow their careers. Interested individuals may use in-house education opportunities and a $3,000 tuition reimbursement annually to help them reach their career goals. “We see this as a great opportunity for passionate, caring individuals to get their foot in the door as early as high school and grow their career while minimizing the debt they take on”, says Mollie Cook, Director of Human Resources.
