Nye Health Services Announces Acquisition Plans
Nye Health Services is excited to share that it is in negotiations with the City of Louisville to purchase the Louisville Care Community. In addition, an interim management agreement has been signed, solidifying Nye Health Services’ commitment to the community.
A Legacy of Care and a Vision for the Future
“The Louisville Care Community has been a strong and respected healthcare provider and employer for many years,” states Russ Peterson, CEO of Nye Health Services. “Despite recent financial challenges, we see great potential to restore profitability and ensure years of continued success with some operational adjustments.”
Strengthening Hometown Care
“Most of our campuses are in rural areas, so we understand the importance of hometown commitment to care and services,” continues Mr. Peterson. “We are eager to uphold and expand that philosophy at the Louisville Care Community.”
Celebrating 35 Years of Excellence in Senior Care
Having just celebrated 35 years of serving older adults in Nebraska, Nye Health Services operates senior living apartments, assisted living campuses, skilled care and rehabilitation facilities, and home health care. Kristin Harris, Chief Operating Officer, emphasizes, “Our mission is to help residents and team members ‘Celebrate Life in the Environments We Create.’ It’s a mission we actively strive to live by every day.”
Supporting Staff, Residents, and the Community
During transitions like this, questions often arise. Nye Health Services plans to hold meetings with team members, residents, families, and community members to address concerns and share their vision.
“Our guiding principles include retaining dedicated staff by honoring their wage rates and seniority, becoming a true community partner in Louisville, and maintaining excellence in care and services,” adds Mr. Peterson. “These principles are the foundation of our success and will guide us as we move forward.”
